Is Fronius Reserva compatible with my existing solar?
If you already have (or plan to add) a Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter, Reserva integrates natively as a DC-coupled battery. We can assess retrofit options on site.
How much storage do I need?
Most NZ homes start around 6 – 10 kWh for evening usage and essentials backup; larger homes or EV charging often choose 12 – 16 kWh, with room to expand to 63 kWh.
Will it power my whole house in an outage?
Yes, with the right system design. GEN24 Plus supports PV Point/Essential-loads or Full Backup (entire switchboard including some three-phase loads). Plus black-start charging from solar. We’ll size and wire it to suit your priorities.
What about warranties and support?
Fronius provides warranty coverage and service through its global network; Star-Delta offers local support and maintenance. (Exact terms vary by model and region – ask us for current details.)
